AFAF ABOVE THE WATER was founded in loving memory of Afaf Ahmed (2005–2024) to honor her selflessness and generosity. Established by Afaf’s mother, Dr. Hanan Abdelaziz, alongside her aunts—Miss Hala Abdelaziz and Miss Amel Abdelaziz—who were like second mothers to her.

Through this foundation, we honor her spirit by making a tangible difference in people’s lives by providing food, clean water, education, healthcare, and bereavement support to those in need.

Providing essential daily needs such as food, shelter, and education, ensuring they can live a dignified life.

Supplying necessities and constructing clean water resources, including digging wells to provide access to safe drinking water in underserved areas worldwide.

Assisting struggling families to cover essential needs, ensuring their children have access to education, healthcare, and a better future.

Working with governmental and non-governmental organizations to promote health education, raise awareness about healthy lifestyles, and ensure communities have access to essential healthcare knowledge.

Volunteering to support individuals through grief and loss, offering comfort and guidance during difficult times.

Providing companionship and assistance to elderly individuals, alleviating loneliness, and ensuring their daily needs are met.

Volunteering to assist patients in their homes, hospitals, and hospices, offering both practical and emotional support.

Working alongside Coventry City Council and other relevant authorities to maintain a clean, bright, and welcoming city for all.
